I also put a plane behinde it that was a dark gray (approx 50,50,50). Made the plane reflective and started to play with bumpy textures thinking that the amount of "lucky" reflections from the bumps would decrease with distance from the tube simulating the effect of the neon shining on the background. It worked. I wanted to have a difuse reflection on something that looked like shiny black plastic but wound up with something that lookd like bumpy mylar. Gerard -=> RETURN TO CONTENTS!<=-
